Christmas Catalog 2020

Christmas Catalog 2020

The Holidays are just around the corner and I am getting in the spirit with the reveal of the 2020 SGP Christmas Collection! If you have been following me for a little while, you probably know how much I love Christmas. It is my passion to create collectible heirlooms that are treasured and passed down from generation to generation. My hope is that these handmade creations elevate your holiday gatherings with your loved ones, whatever that may look like this year.

So many have expressed excitement and eager anticipation over this collection, especially with the addition of our neutral colorway and serving pieces! My holiday color schemes have changed over the years, as I am sure yours have too. Having plates, cups, and decor that will continue to coordinate with an ever-evolving style makes everything come together so much easier.

My mantra this year is: fearless mixing. I love the practice of justaposing styles and colors that I would normally be worried would clash. I hope you feel encouraged by this catalog to use a little bit of what you already have, add what you love and don’t worry about perfection. This year has been stressful enough, the last thing we need is to fret over perfect holiday decorations!

Inspired by and shot on site at Ragan Cain’s (of The Frances Flair) gorgeous dining room designed by Mark D. Sikes, we went with neutral plates and accents, and then added splashes of blush, sage, and gold for this year’s Christmas table. My friend and this shoot’s Creative Director, Courtney Wright of Savor Style, used a large size wavy bowl (any of our large sizes would work!) in blush to create the floral centerpiece.

One of my favorite features of this table scape were the ornaments! In lieu of place cards, we personalized our round shaped ornaments and set them on gold napkin rings. The silk ribbbons from Cocoon Silk Ribbon by Leslie Nunnelly were tied to the top of our personalized ornaments. Leslie’s silk runner and ribbon with scripture written in calligraphy down middle of the table helped add a touch of softness. I couldn’t resist - I ended up keeping the calligraphy ribbon for myself, although I feel sure Leslie has others available.

It took a village and many months to create this collection, tablescape, and catalog. I am so proud of how it turned out. I hope you love it, too!
